Audio Tape Release Forms, undated
This collection consists of audio tapes used for background information when writing Davis' novel, “Okeeheedee Country.” Also included are photographs of Jeanette in her cap and gown, a copy of her short work, “Wild Flowers in Hog Branch,” a summary of her life, a copy of a photo of Alcoa High School Central Office (1983-1984) that she appears in, and a copy of a letter she wrote to Random House Publishing Group requesting they publish a book of her poetry.

Abstract
The audio tape release forms include Jeanette Payne Davis’ request for permission to use taped discussions in future book(s) or article(s). The requests are to her uncle by marriage, Lee Bryson, and her grandfather, Fred C. Payne, both of whom granted permission. A letter stating that Jeanette's husband, Winston "Sid" Davis, is "authorized to use all information given to Jeanette Davis by Eunice Toomey [Jeanette’s Aunt], for publication and distribution" as he sees fit from Eunice’s son, Kent, is also included and allowed Sid to donate the collection.
