This file contains correspondence, memos, notes, etc. primarily public relations in nature, to and from Baker, his staff, and/or his family. Included are such things as thank you notes, congratulation letters, requests for Baker's autograph, visitor's guest registers, and photograph requests. Throughout the earlier part of Baker's three terms, public relations files were marked and filed according to a four digit code; when present these codes have been retained (in parentheses) after the folder title. This file is an integration of files from various time spans and of individual folders that were not in any arrangement when they arrived here for processing.
