These files are primarily comprised of letters from people asking for Baker's support/ recommendation for themselves or someone they support. Baker's replies to the person and recommendations to the agencies are often attached. Resumes, clippings and other background information is sometimes included. Some folders also contain lists of nominees or lists of those already in the position. Some similar types of documents can also be found in the recommendation and nomination file.
