Manuscript roster of 10th Tennessee Cavalry, Company G, by William L. Walker, 1899 December 28
In this manuscript dated December 28, 1899, William L. Walker, a former Confederate private, lists the names and current locations (if known) of 42 members of the 10th Tennessee Cavalry, Company G, led by Captain Thomas S. Easley. Walker warns that he did not join the company until August 1864 and that he is providing only the names he can recall.
Walker also writes of Mrs. W. T. Cooper in Nashville who owns a diary kept by W. D. Dorris, who belonged to Col. Campbell's 10th Tennessee, Company H.
