Series I: Correspondence houses letters to and from Martha Caldwell in addition to correspondence between other individuals.

Series II: Conference Information consists of two folders primarily documenting two conferences: SEWCA's first conference in 1978 in Little Rock, Arkansas, and SECAC's 1982 conference at James Madison University. The first folder houses six resumes of prospective lecturers (including Martha Caldwell), a flyer requesting planning suggestions, a few hand-written suggestions from various colleagues, three lecture proposals, and some tentative schedules for lectures and events. The second folder consists of the schedule handouts for the two conferences.

Series III: Newsletters and Newspapers consists of two folders. The first houses three WCA newsletters dating from 1977 to 1978, three SEWCA Newsletters dating from 1978 to 1980, one College Art Association Newsletter dating from April 1981, two SECAC Newsletters dating from 1981 and 1982, and a Southern Graphics Council Newsletter dating from 1981. The second folder consists of a newspaper announcing an exhibition sponsored by the Atlanta Women's Art Collective dating from 1978 and an issue of the Atlanta Art Workers Coalition Newspaper dating from 1978.

Series IV: Legal and Financial Documents includes an edited version of the Women's Caucus for Art Constitution and Bylaws, a rough draft of the Southeastern Women's Caucus for Art Constitution and Bylaws, legal information from the state of Virginia regarding the process of incorporation for SEWCA, and budgetary information.

Series V: Other Papers contains information on the Coalition of Women's Art Organizations and the Atlanta Women's Art Collective, undated WCA mailings, and other materials.
