Summer School Spectator (photocopies), 1909-1910
This collection houses a 1908 booklet discussing the Summer School of the South, three editions of the School’s Newsletter, Summer School Spectator (volumes I-III), and a broadside advertisement for the School's 1916 session. The booklet includes a short history of the Summer School at Knoxville and a collection of photographs, including groups from different states, faculty and staff, campus photos, and pictures of classes. The issues of the Spectator include a history of the campus, articles on key moments in UT history, advertisements from Knoxville merchants, and photographs of the campus. Finally, the broadside provides detailed information on the School's 1916 session, including the courses offered, the extracurricular activities available, and the types of professionals expected to attend.
