College Scholars Projects
This collection houses 57 Senior Thesis Projects (composed of print essays and digital video on CD-ROM and DVD) completed by students in the College Scholars Program between 2003 and 2006. Each project includes an approval sheet with the names and signatures of the professors on the defense committee. Among the subjects covered are illegal immigration and other legal issues, theater, music, science, caffeine, literature, English, art, and history.

Abstract

Biographical/Historical Note
The College Scholars program is an interdisciplinary honors program in the University of Tennessee College of Arts and Sciences. The program accepts undergraduate students who have educational objectives unobtainable within the traditional requirements structure of the university. Students are eligible to apply at any time through spring of their sophomore year. Admitted students are required to submit a project in the senior year involving research, scholarship, or creative imagination.
