Political Science Final Exams
This collection houses three final examinations given by the Department of Political Science during winter quarter of 1948. These tests document three separate classes: the exam for Political Science 364 deals with such philosophers as Locke, Rousseau, and Hobbes; the exam for Political Science 372 deals with Germany and the Soviet Union; and the exam for Political Science 512 deals with Burke and Locke.

The collection also contains related correspondence and summaries of research in progress at the University. Most of the material was created by Alvin Weinberg, director of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

Roger B. Thompson Collection,
The bulk of this collection is made up of 129 ink sketches on the backs of index cards (most including the plant name) and full-page ink drawings showing the different species of Camellis plants. These materials also include notes concerning Thompson's drawings, correspondence from various magazine publishers about drawings that Thompson submitted to them, a collection of magazine articles and images created by Thompson, and three issues of Home Gardening including Thompson's work.
