Lou Daughtry Scrapbooks

This collection houses tentative budgets and working papers created by the Office of the Treasurer between 1917 and 1963. The budgets list the University's employees along with their job titles, salaries, and proposed salary increases.
Office of the University Historian Collection
This collection houses papers, press clippings, ephemera, photographs, and slides documenting the University of Tennessee System, including campuses at Knoxville, Nashville, Memphis, Martin, and Chattanooga. Although the earliest images date from the 1820s, the bulk of the material shows the University from the 1870s onward.

Philip M. Hamer Diary
Philip Hamer kept this typed diary during the controversy at the University of Tennessee over President Harcourt A. Morgan dismissing Professor J. W. Sprowls, allegedly because Sprowls had assigned a text discussing evolution entitled Mind in the Making. The manuscript also mentions Morgan's firing of Assistant Professor of Art Ada (Haun) Withers (1886-1978) on similar grounds.
