Colonel James Corbitt Photograph Collection
This collection consists of photographs collected by University of Tennessee student James S. Corbitt. The subjects depicted include the UT campus directly after the Civil War (including the earthworks built for the Battle of Fort Sanders), the 1931 College of Engineering faculty (including Nathan Dougherty and Red Matthews), Ferris Hall, football games on Shields-Watkins Field, and unidentified UT faculty members.

This collection contains an 1887 invitation to the Oratorical Contest for Valedictorians from the UT Medical and Dental Departments, an 1896 UT commencement invitation, a 1920 UT commencement book, a 1921 UT commencement book, and a 1921 UT commencement invitation.
Commencement Papers
This collection houses materials documenting commencement ceremonies at the University of Tennessee. These items include a card confirming the matriculation of Caroline Lillard in 1918, an invitation letter from Dean T. W. Jordan in 1894, the program of events from 1907, a song sheet from 1921, the program from 1923, and two copies of the list of candidates for bachelor’s degrees in 1935.
Commission for Blacks Collection
This collection contains materials documenting the Commission for Blacks at the University of Tennessee, an advisory group to the Chancellor designed to address issues affecting black faculty, staff, and students on campus. Materials include statements of goals, meeting agendas, correspondence, reports of complaints over racial issues, and other documents.

This collection houses meeting minutes, reports, papers, notes, and records of awards documenting the activities of the University of Tennessee's Commission for Women from 1970 to 2002. The bulk of the material dates from the 1980s.

Correspondence regarding the World's Fair Park
This collection houses correspondence documenting the University of Tennessee's role in the further development of the site of the 1982 World's Fair. Some of the correspondence proposes that the site be used for an Appalachian Pioneer Museum. The collection also contains a report from the working group charged with planning for the site.

Dean L. R. Hesler Collection
This collection houses photographs and an aluminum bust depicting Dean Lexemuel R. Hesler of the University of Tennessee's Department of Botany. The bust is the first casting from a mold built to create a likeness of Hesler to be placed on the outer wall of Hesler Hall (located on the Hill). The photographs show Hesler in academic dress and on the UT campus.
